Our community here at JRB welcomes all students’ family members who are veterans to our Veterans’ Luncheon! If you are a student’s family member and a veteran, we would like to honor you by providing you with lunch (Penne Pasta with Creamy Alfredo Sauce with or without Tender Pulled Chicken or a Crispy Chicken Patty Sandwich) on Wednesday, November 12th. Our guests sit with our students and enjoy the lovely and unique conversations that occur at lunchtime. In addition, there will be a presentation from students at each lunch. 

The luncheon will be held on Wednesday, November 12th at the following times:

1st Grade- 10:40 

2nd Grade- 11:05

Kindergarten- 11:40

5th Grade 12:05

4th Grade- 12:40

3rd Grade- 1:05

We hope to see you there! 

If you plan to attend, please RSVP to JRB via email, jrboffice@awrsd.org, or by phone at (978) 827-5750, by Monday, November 10th. Please state your name, the student’s name, grade level, and your choice of Alfredo Pasta or a Chicken Patty Sandwich.

The luncheon is for VETERANS ONLY. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate spouses or additional family members, unless they are also veterans. Responses can not be accepted after NOV. 10th as the cafeteria must prepare extra food for those who are attending. 

JRB is collaborating with several other community organizations through our Holiday Help Program. If your family is in need of support this holiday season, you can email jrbholiday@awrsd.org. Your family’s request for help is confidential. 

If we can help this Thanksgiving as well, please let us know. 

We are collecting prizes for our Outdoor Classroom Calendar that takes place in December. This calendar raffle helps to fund our 5th grade trip to Outdoor Classroom in May. If you have a local business or your place of employment is interested in donating a prize, we truly appreciate it. Previous prizes have been gift cards, 1 hour massage, furnace cleaning, visits to restaurants, and more. You can email nnorth@awrsd.org if you have the ability to donate.

Halloween was a spooktastic time and the children (K-5) submitted really creative writing- 72 pieces of writing in just 4 days!
